The Annual General Meeting of Mothers and Daughters of Lanka (MDL) was held on the 24th July, 2009.

International Women’s Day 2008

The MDL printed leaflets in Sinhala and Tamil which highlighted the demands of women as they celebrated international women’s day for 2008. The leaflet demanded that the rising cost of living affected women the most and requested that all women in Sri Lanka unite to call an end to this situation.
